Acknowledgments

This project exists because a great many stellar human beings are incredibly generous. Jessica would like to thank the following sentient balls of stardust for their invaluable contributions to her artistic journey.

  • To Jordan Martineau, pianist extraordinaire and esteemed collaborator: thank you for your time, your friendship, and your patience. You are an exemplary musician and I am so grateful to have had the chance to work with you.

  • To the Shenandoah Conservatory pedagogy faculty (Dr. Kathryn Green, Edrie Means Weekly, Alison Crockett, Dr. Matt Edwards, Dr. David Meyer, Dr. Alanna Tierno, Dr. LaSaundra Booth, Dr. Rachel Short, and Dr. Matthew Herman): thank you for the knowledge you graciously bestowed and the time you generously gave. I am indebted to each of you.

  • To the SU Pedagogy Cohort: your brilliance has mesmerized me from day one. I thank each of you for sharing your gifts, knowledge, and time with me these last two years. I am honored to be part of such a stellar class of pedagogues.

  • To Brittany, Daniel, Emily, and Riley: thank you for your endless patience, your unwavering friendship, and adventures that have taken us all over time and space. You four are the best pals a space cadet could ever ask for.

  • To my family near and far, from Boston to Tulsa to Vinita to Durant to Spiro and everywhere in between: thank you for your love and support, no matter where we are. You all are my world and I miss you every day.

  • To Mom, Dad, Sean, & Delaney: thank you for...well, everything.

  • To Luke: you are my sun, my moon, and all my stars. I love you. This is for you.

  • And to you, kind listener: thank you for spending this time with me. You could be anywhere in the infinite multiverse, but you're here with me right now, and I cannot express how much that means to me. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
