Program Overview & Investment
Currently, DMS operates primarily on a virtual basis. Lessons will be conducted via Zoom, so I can meet you wherever you are! (If you are local to the Northern Virginia area, in person lessons may be available; please contact me for more details.) Lessons may be 30, 45, or 60 minutes in length and lesson fees are listed below. Taxes and processing fees are included. Available lesson times are listed on the DMS website under "Book Now." Payment is due at time of booking.

Lesson Fees:

Attendance & Cancellations
Life happens. If you are unable to make your scheduled lesson time, please reach out to me via phone or email at least 24 hours ahead of time and I will do my best to get you rescheduled. Lessons may be cancelled or rescheduled for any reason up to 24 hours prior to scheduled lesson time. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice (and no-call-no-shows) will not be refunded.

Recording Policy
All lessons will be recorded in full through Zoom and subsequently uploaded to a shared Google Drive folder, which you can use to reference things we talked about in lessons or for practicing warm up exercises, however helps you best! Prior to your first lesson, a consent form will need to be signed and turned in. (For students under 18, a parent/legal guardian signature is required.)
Materials
Here are some of the tools you'll need for your lessons:

A three-ring binder for holding physical copies of sheet music and/or a digital

tablet with PDF compatibility

A writing utensil or digital note-taking tool for marking music and taking notes

Water (please stay hydrated!)

All lesson repertoire

You are welcome and encouraged to bring in what you would like to sing, but if you need guidance selecting repertoire, I am more than happy to help!

I encourage all my students to abide by copyright law as they build their collections of sheet music. Here are some online resources for legally purchasing copies of music:

Backup tracks or accompaniment if applicable

Please bring all materials to each lesson. Lessons will be recorded and uploaded to a shared Google Drive folder for your reference and practice needs.
Performance Opportunities
Performance opportunities such as recitals are not currently offered; however, I
encourage you to seek local opportunities in your area! I am here to support and guide you through the audition and performance processes, so please bring in any audition or show/gig materials you would like to work on to your lesson.
